Last weekend we had the pleasure of celebrating and photographing the wedding of our sweet friends, Sherry and Cal! Being our first time in the country, we instantly noticed the differences from Shanghai… namely the logical organization of things and the politeness of the people. I am thrilled to report that I did not hear one single person hawking and spitting the entire time we were there. It was so refreshing! Much of our 3-day weekend was spent in planes, trains, and automobiles heading to and from Kenting. We absolutely loved this funky little beach town and hope to return and spend more time soon!
See you later, dreary Shanghai!
Thumbs up for Taiwan’s High Speed Rail!
Loving all the green!
Ice cream spring rolls… one of the strangest, but most delicious combinations we’ve ever tasted! First, he painstakingly grinds down a bunch of peanut brittle from this massive block and lays it on the rice paper wrapping. Next, he adds one scoop of vanilla ice cream and one scoop of taro ice cream. Before wrapping it up he sprinkles on a generous helping of fresh cilantro.
Hubby captured this sweet moment… simply stunning!
Hailey is all tuckered out!
Cal and Sherry on their wedding day. Love them!
We received our first hong bao from the groom’s sweet family.
McDonald’s breakfast line up… they’re lovin’ it.
No unlucky 4th floor.
