And the fun continues! The day after our travel themed baby shower, Miss Isla and I were treated to another fabulous baby shower, hosted by our “all things crafty” cousin, Alicia. So much fun packed into 48 hours! The Marshall/Albaugh side of the family has babies arriving at a rapid rate, with 6 new cuties joining the world between May and December! I had the honor of sharing this shower with our cousin Jennie, and her brand new baby girl, Ainsleigh! The Sweet Baby theme boasted an absolutely incredible dessert bar and SO many other sweet little details! Every item was so thoughtfully and skillfully produced- I was truly discovering treat after treat around every corner.
How darling is that ribbon banner Alicia created?! And I love the burlap-wrapped chalkboard!
Soft pastel details were everywhere- so beautiful! Those sour watermelon candies were too tempting… good thing I didn’t discover them until the end of the shower when there were only a handful left! Our delicious lunch spread consisted of darling finger sandwiches, fresh cherries, potato salad, green salad, caprese salad skewers, and a selection of scrumptious breads and dips. Yum! It was lovingly put together by our talented cousins, Denise and Amy. They know how to make sure a mama-to-be doesn’t go hungry! A master of darling details, Alicia created this wonderful iced coffee bar, and also provided pitchers of delicious raspberry lemonade (complete with cute, colorful straws!) Our AMAZING dessert bar!
Individual cheesecakes with fresh berries were beautifully displayed in tiny mason jars- thanks, Rachie and Alicia!
Decadent chocolate mousse
Precious chocolate raspberry, red velvet and snickerdoodle macaroons
Pineapple licorice
And my personal favorite, fresh strawberries in hot fudge! Wow, these took chocolate covered strawberries to a whole new level! Sweet baby Ainsleigh
In lieu of a guest book, Alicia had our friend Mandy design these darling tree templates and guests stamped and signed finger print leaves. The ink colors were carefully selected to match the girls’ nursery colors. How awesome is that?! I absolutely loved this thoughtful touch, and it will be such a special keepsake for Isla and me!
And again, we were showered with the most wonderful and thoughtful gifts. We cannot thank our families enough for their generosity!!! So many cute outfits to dress Isla in… I can hardly stand the wait!

Sisters and Marshall (or formerly Marshall) ladies =)
Again, reflecting upon this day just overwhelms me with love and warm fuzzies. One doesn’t get too many baby showers in their life time, and having hostesses who put so much care, time and effort into all the beautiful details means the world to me. I cannot wait to introduce Isla to all of our wonderful friends and family who love her so much already!
