Raspberry Picking with Gruncle

Each summer since we moved home 3 years ago, Isla and Gruncle have picked raspberries together. And every year I can’t help but follow along behind them and take photos. It is the sweetest little tradition and I just love seeing these two together!

We spent the first half of July at the coast, so we barely made by the end of the season. Thankfully, just enough berries hung on for Isla and Gruncle! They started with the red raspberries and then moved onto the gold. To boost their haul a bit they also picked a few blackberries and blueberries. Per usual, just as many berries were consumed while picking as made it back inside the house.

Another successful berry picking adventure for these two. Their next harvesting adventure: pumpkins! I’m doing by best to be fully present and enjoy the summer, but I am so excited for fall already I can hardly stand it!
