Our fourth pumpkin patch adventure of the season took us to Bauman Farms with Nana, Papa, aunties, cousins, and our friend, Michele!
The farm has grown and added so many attractions over the years, it feels almost more like a state fair of autumn themed Disneyland!
We indulged in a tasty apple cider slushie and some warm, freshly made apple cider doughnuts.
Hayride out to the pumpkin patch!
The girls insisted on pushing their own wheelbarrow through the patch together. It was so sweet! They also busily scampered around, filling the wheelbarrow with teeny pumpkins and bumpy gourds. Thankfully, we were able to convince the girls to leave most of their collection in the patch!Cole made a sweet little goat friend, and absolutely loved feeding him!Such a fun and festive afternoon!
Up next we visited the pumpkin patch with Isla’s Pre-K class. The trip took place the day after her birthday, so we brought snacks to celebrate. We decorated cuties with jack-o-lantern faces and cut watermelon into bat shapes- fruit bats! Super easy and the kids loved them.
Our final pumpkin patch trip was to BiZi Farms with Nana, Grauntie and Gruncle. Bizi Farms was indeed busy, with literally hundreds of people in line in front of us- and we arrived 10 minutes after opening! Thankfully, they are prepared for these masses, so we moved through the line pretty quickly and were busy enjoying their farm festival activities before too long.
First up, Isla got to work her strong muscles at the corn grinding station. Isla was absolutely delighted to feed the chickens with the corn she ground.
Then, we watched the cider press, and sampled fresh cider. After that, Isla tried her hand at roping! I’m pretty sure she would have stayed here all day if she could have. Then, this hilarious bouncy race course. Next, we met a few new goat friends.Cole wasn’t certain how he felt about these goats. Haha! Finally, we took a hay ride out to the patch and started searching for pumpkins.I love the stalks of corn growing throughout the patch!Post-patch snuggles. We love these two little pumpkins so much, and we are so grateful for the wonderful fall adventures we’ve been sharing this year!
